If your Garmin smartwatch charger is broken or not working, you can still charge your watch without a charger.
You need the following things to charge your Garmin watch without a charger-
- Old USB Cable.
- Power Adapter or Powerbank.
- A Scissor.
- Rubber Band.
Steps to charge your Garmin watch without a charger-
Step #1- Cut your USB cable
Use a scissor to cut your USB cable. I’ve used a USB Type-A cable with a Micro-USB-Connector.
The Micro-USB-Connector is in the trash now and not shown in the pictures below.
Step #2- Remove Watch Straps
Remove your watch straps and connect the Red wire on the left pin and the Black wire on the Right pin.
Step #3- Connect the wire with the rubber band
Use the rubber bands to connect the charger with your smartwatch charging pins.
Step #4- Connect to the power source
If you have a power bank, insert one end of the USB cable into the power source. You can also use a power adapter to charge your Garmin watch.
Step #5- Leave it plugged in
The charging process will take at least one hour. Leave this setup until your Garmin watch is fully charged.
