So, first of all, take both your earbuds outside the case and insert them properly. Just align the earbuds; magnetic force automatically attracts them to connect with charging pins.

2. Clean The Earbuds

If your left or right JBL earbud is not charging, it could be due to an insulative layer of dirt formed on the metal contacts. Sweat and dust accumulate around the metal contacts when we do workouts along with earbuds.

To fix this, put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber cloth and rub it on the metal contacts of each earbud. The isopropyl alcohol will break the insulative layer, and your earbuds will start charging again.

3. Clean The Charging Case

The charging case attracts dust and debris from our jeans or the environment. If any dust or debris gets stuck in the case, it will create problems with charging.

4. Insert And Charge

JBL charging case has a microchip that controls the various functions of earbuds. Sometimes, your charging case goes into sleep mode when your battery is fully discharged.

So, in that situation, you need to insert your earbuds into the case and connect it to a charger. Leave your case on the charging for at least 2 to 3 hours, and your earbuds will start charging again.

5. Reset Your Earbuds

If your JBL earbuds are still not charging in the case, it could be due to a software glitch. A factory reset will fix all software glitches and restore your earbuds to their original condition.

Follow these steps to reset JBL earbuds:

Remove both earbuds from the charging case.
Double-tap on the touch control, then tap and hold for 8 seconds.

How To Fix JBL Earbud’s Case Not Charging

If your JBL earbuds case is not charging, please try the following solutions-

1. Clean The Charging Port

If your earbud’s case is not charging, ensure that the charging port is not clogged with debris. If you notice any dust or debris in the port, remove it with a toothpick or any sharp non-metallic object.

After unclogging the debris, clean the port with a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and insert the charger. Most probably, your case will start charging again.

Note– Don’t use metal objects like a knife or SIM ejector tool to unclog the port. This will damage the charging pins, and you must buy a replacement.

2. Try Another Power Source

If your power adapter or wall outlet is faulty, the JBL earbuds case will not charge. So, I would advise you to try a different wall outlet and change your power adapter to see whether it’s charging.

If the case still does not charge, I would advise charging with a different power source, like a laptop USB hub or a power bank.

3. Try Another Charging Cable

JBL provides a small USB type C cable in the box. Because of frequent uses, the cable gets frayed or damaged, which prevents your case from charging.
